Dr Shagufta Gul General Practitioner
Dr Shagufta Gul has been a GP at Palm Springs Medical Centre since December 2012. Prior to moving to Australia, she worked in Malaysia as a GP obstetrician. Her special interests include women’s health, contraceptive implants, pap smears, ante-natal and post-natal checkups. She is fluent in English, Bahasa, Urdu, Hindi and Pushto.
Dr Andre Leong General Practitioner
Dr Andre Leong has been a mainstay and very popular GP at Palm Springs Medical Centre since joining the practice in 2007. He has a special interest in minor operations ranging from lesion removals to carpal tunnel surgery. Unfortunately as he is so popular and booked out weeks in advance he does not take on new patients, but does accept referrals from other GPs for minor surgeries that he specialises in.
Dr Marcin Narozny General Practitioner
Dr Marcin Narozny joined Palm Springs Medical Centre in March 2014 from England, and is a very knowledgeable general practitioner with extensive experience in the areas of sports medicine, minor surgery and mental health.
Dr Muraliraj Visvanathan General Practitioner
Dr Raj has been a GP at Palm Springs Medical Centre since 2009. Prior to this he worked as a rural GP in the Northern Territory where he acquired experience with aboriginal health issues. He has special interests in aboriginal health, men’s health and chronic disease management.
Dr Jonathan Bridges General Practitioner
Dr Jonathan Bridges joined Palm Springs Medical Centre in January 2018. A recent GP graduate from Edinburgh, UK and prior to that was training to be a surgeon. Jonathan enjoys all aspects of being a GP and prides himself on good communication and providing a practical approach to the many and varied problems seen in general practice. Has a particular interest in procedural work including skin cancer surgery, joint injections and vasectomy. Outside of work, Jonathan is very active and looks forward to inspiring his patients to live healthier, happier lives.
Dr Sarah Bridges General Practitioner
Dr Sarah Bridges joined Palm Springs Medical Centre in March 2018. She graduated from Tyne University in Newcastle UK and worked in various hospitals in the UK and NZ before undertaking her further training to become a GP. She joins us after working as a GP at the Kelso Medical Group in Scotland. Dr Bridges has special interests in women’s health, family planning and children’s health.
Dr Shiree Treleaven General Practitioner
Dr Shiree Treleaven graduated from Notre Dame University in Fremantle. She has worked at Fremantle, Rockingham and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. She is currently undertaking her further studies to become a GP, and will be placed with Palm Springs Medical Centre as a registrar for 2018 and 2019 with a view to join the practice as a permanent GP. Prior to undertaking her medical degree she was a psychology researcher.
Dr Melissa Lee General Practitioner
Dr Melissa Lee joined Palm Springs Medical Centre as a registrar in 2019. She graduated with Honours from The University of Western Australia in 2013. Preceding that, she completed a degree in Biomedical Science at The University of Melbourne and has undergone further research on childhood asthma at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Her interests include children’s health, women’s health including family planning and sexual health, dermatology, allergy, aesthetic and lifestyle medicine. Outside of work, she is a foodie and enjoys spending time with her dogs, making probiotic beverages and keeping a healthy lifestyle.
